. We accept donations for this project throughout the year.
Operation Rack Pack Wish List 
Our most needed items are written in red below. For an up-to-date list of what we have and what we need, please click on the donation list to the left of this wish list. Thank you so much for your support! Flyers for each upcoming project are located in the column to the left.
  • Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving cream, soap, razors, lotion, deodorant, shampoo, etc.)
  • $10 Gift Cards: to local fast food restaurants, stores and gas stations
  • Gift cards for other shopping needs:  $5-$10 Starbucks, gas cards, Wal-Mart, Target, & grocery store cards, Visa & Amex gift cards in small increments, etc.
  • Snack foods: chips, cookies, brownies, noodle bowls, candy, non-perishable microwave food, popcorn, etc.
  • Paper and plastic ware (paper plates, forks, spoons, knives, paper towels, napkins, and baggies)
  • Entertainment items (magazines, playing cards, DVDs, CDs, games, books, iTunes cards, etc.)
  • Towel sets (towels, hand towels and wash cloths)
  • Welcome home signs/ cards
  • T-shirt, pillow case and socks
  • Netflix or Blockbuster gift cards, movie tickets
  • Drinks (soda, water, dry drink mixes, Gatorade, etc.)
Adopt-a-Marine Options/Packages
Want to make a personal gesture of thanks for a young, single Marine? Take a look at our "Adopt-a-Marine" packages/options. Each of these options will allow you to include personal notes, pictures and sentiments for a well-deserving Marine returning from war.
Use the wish list to the left to purchase items for a Marine. Mail a box of the items you've purchased, including any personal notes or sentiments, to us by April 21st. Once we receive your package, we will pair you with a Marine, clean out his room, hang posters and stage your gifts on your behalf.  
 Choose from one of the following tax-deductable donation packages, and we'll do the shopping for you! (each will give you the opportunity to include a personal note)
A Movie and Munchies 
 A donation of $15 will purchase a DVD movie, snacks and sweets for a Marine to enjoy the night of his return.
Luxury Latrine
A $20 donation will purchase a towel set, soap, shampoo, a comb, a razor, shaving cream, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste and mouthwash for one Marine.
Dinner on Us
A $20 - $25 donation will purchase food gift cards to local restaurants and allow a Marine a nice dinner out.
More than the Messhall 
A $25 donation will purchase a fast food gift card of $10, a movie ticket and treats for a movie experience. Throw in another $10 and he can take a date!
 Restful Rack 
 A $30 donation will purchase a new pillow, pillow case, a book or calming CD and a fleece blanket.
The "Max Out" My Marine Package 
 A $75.00 donation will cover an entire wish list for one Marine. The total package includes a towel set, toiletries, a $10 fast food gift card, a $10 movie/ blockbuster gift card or a $10 Walmart, Target, gas or grocery card, snacks, candy, cookies, socks, a t-shirt, plastic ware, paper plates, soft drinks, water, playing cards, a magazine, a new pillow, a pillow case, welcome home signs, and a mint with a note from you left on a Marine's pillow.

 Have ideas or specific things you would like to give a Marine but don't have time to do the shopping? Give us your shopping list, and we'll do all the leg work!

How to Donate to ORP
  • Need to arrange a donation drop-off or pick-up? Call or email our project coordinator: Cindy Farnum at                      949-874-9020           949-874-9020 cfarnum@operationhelpahero.com .
  • Operation Help a Hero is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) charitable organization. Donations made to OHH are tax deductible, so please include your information with your donation for tax receipts. 
  • Donations can also be made out to Operation Help a Hero and mailed to P.O. Box 80996, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 92688 (envelopes only). Please specify how you want your donation to be used if opting for one of the packages above. Adopt-a-Marine packages, boxes and durable good donations mailed from out of the area can be mailed to 7 Paulownia, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 92688.

  • Your donations may be tax deductible. A tax receipt will automatically be sent to you for all cash/check donations, durable goods and gift cards, but we need you to include your name and either address or email address with your donation. We will happily issue tax receipts for all donations upon request.
